Always start with a piece of A size paper. The actual size you use will determine how big the polygons are.

Make hexagons with different colours of paper, and put them together to form a patchwork quilt or a football (you will need some pentagons as well).

Start by making a square, making sure you don't throw away the strip of paper you cut off .
