More details about our conferences. This conference is aimed at 6-8 year-old children. To reserve a place on it, go to Get involved! and contact Adrian Cullum-Hanshaw, 01223 764106 or 0774 703 5984, to arrange a videoconferencing connection test.

Explore regular and irregular 2D shapes in a fun and exciting way. Find out what happens to a triangle when another side is added...then another and another! We will be revising the project work for this conference, but you can see what we did in 2004.

This conference is based on the book The Greedy Triangle by Marilyn Burns, and schools wishing to participate will need a copy.

Other books

You might find these books useful as well:
A Triangle for Adaora: an African book of shapes by Ifeoma Onyefulu, published by Frances Lincoln, 0-7112-1467-0 (a beautiful book with useful multi-cultural links)
The Shape of Things by Dayle Ann Dodds, published by Walker Book, 0-7445-4368-1 (a different way of looking at shapes).
