- keyboards, recorders or other instruments which students can use to pick out a tune
- music paper if any students can use it to record their tunes
- space to move about during the final session
- Maths of Churches, Mosques, Synagogues and Temples
- squared, isometric and plain paper
- card which can be cut out to make tiles
- scissors
- geometric instruments: rulers, pencils, pencil sharpeners, erasers, protractors
- paints, charcoal and other means of colouring constructions
- Languages and coding
- texts (eg. newspaper articles, novels, text books, ...) in English, French, Spanish and German
- access to the internet for a frequency analyser would be useful
- spreadsheet for results of analysis of different languages (also linked below)
- spreadsheet for Scytale strips (one strip per student - also linked below)
