The Secret World of Codes is a presentation about the history and mathematics of codes and codebreaking, from ancient Greece to the present, including a demonstration of a genuine WWII enigma machine. The students will also get the chance to break some codes themselves in the follow-up work. It's inspiring to see one of the more interesting and exotic applications of mathematics.
