Before submitting the online registration form below, please read the
following notes (even if you've done all this before!):
- If your form has submitted correctly with a valid email address,
you will see a webpage giving a summary of your booking and you will
also receive a confirmatory email almost immediately. If you
do not see the summary or receive the email, please resubmit the form. You will also receive a reply from a real person within one working day.
- Places
on our conferences are allocated on the basis of date of reception
by us of this form and date of a successful
videoconference test with us. You will be given a firm booking once
you have successfully completed your test. Without a successful test,
we will NOT be able to offer you a place on a conference. You
should therefore arrange a videoconference test AS SOON
AS POSSIBLE with
Adrian Culllum-Hanshaw, a.cullum-hanshaw@damtp.cam.ac.uk,
01223 764106 or 0774 703 5984. If you plan to use an external venue,
such as a City Learning Centre or a local university, make sure you
tell Adrian about this, so he can organise a test with them.
- To check
how many places we have on a conference still, click on the booking
link on the main page for the conference. However it is always worth
sending in a request even if there are no places left, as if there
is sufficient demand we try to run conferences again. Also, it isn't
that uncommon for schools to find they cannot take up a place, particularly
if it was reserved some time before the conference. The place is then
offered first to schools on the waiting list for that conference.
- If
on the other hand, you find you are unable to take part in a conference
you have booked, please
let us know as soon as possible so that we can give your
place to another school. If we do not receive sufficient notice of
a cancellation, a charge may still be made. Motivate
cancellation policy
Note that we make a charge to secondary schools
participating in our conferences and that these are being updated from
January 2008 (more details).
We are also introducing a cancellation
charge in certain situations from
1 January 2008.
