Motivate Survey

The Motivate programme of videoconferences has been running since 1999, and in that time it has evolved from a small-scale project running six conferences for secondary schools a year, to a major provider of videoconferences to schools throughout the age ranges, providing around thirty conferences a year plus some five long projects. We started with the two-VC model which is still our most common format, but have also gradually developed other formats. We started offering mathematical topics only, but now offer scientific and cross-curricular topics also, although all our conferences have maths and/or science as their basis.

However, our staffing hasn't risen with our commitment to offering more conferences! From January 2008, Jenny Gage, the Academic Coordinator will be working four days a week, with our newest recruit, Valentine Bizard covering Mondays. Adrian Cullum-Hanshaw, our Technical Coordinator, will continue to work full-time.

In order that we can use our time most efficiently, we would like you to complete our online survey. If you can spare a few minutes to complete it, your views will become part of the data we use to ensure that as we plan new conferences, we are providing opportunities which will be worthwhile and which schools will want to take part in.
